Dance Studio
From the beginning, we have been different and we take pride in that. Trying to find a different way to reach each dancer takes time, but we’ve found a secret formula that helps narrow focus and dedication. We are so thrilled to share this with each and every dancer whose lives we touch.
We continue to strive for growth each and every year. Not only in the areas of production, artistic expression and technique but in educating our dancers above and beyond the studio. We have dancers involved in summer intensives at famous ballet schools, completing internships with Disney as well as dancers attending national conventions and competitions.
| 2017 - | Dance Xpress Celebrates 20 Years! |
| 2014 - | Dance Xpress returns to teaching and producing Aerial. With our new space, opened in 2013 we can now teach and produce Aerial year-round. |
| 2011 - | Dance Xpress moves to festival style recitals. We now produce our end of the year show outside in a summer concert setting with production values greater than any DFW area studio. |
| 2005 - | Dance Xpress produces our first complete Nutcracker, with a modern twist to the classic story. |
| 2002 - | Dance Xpress produces our first Aerial production, paying tribute to Cirque du Soleil. |
| 2001 - | Dance Xpress performs our first rock music ballet. This show contained music from Pink Floyd and was a hit with the dads! |
| 1997 - | Dance Xpress is formed. We started with less than 20 dancers in a space about the size of our current lobby. |
Since 1997 we have had numerous dancers go on to dance professionally with Disney, on cruise ships and tours around the country and the globe. Our dancers have been accepted for summer intensives at:
Our drill team record is second to none. Well over 250 dancers from Dance Xpress have gone on to be part of drill team and serve as officers. We also have a number of former dancers that are now high school dance and drill team instructors for CFBISD, LISD and PISD. In addition we have alumni teaching at the college level.
