Summer Broadway Series
|

We are going to try something new and fun this summer. Our program is four
weeks in July. It Begins July 5th and runs through July 30th. We will have a
performance for the Broadway Summer Series in the Studio Theatre at Addison
on Saturday, July 31st. This series and the performance is open to anyone
not just Dance Xpress students. Be sure to tell your friends and have them
be part of the fun.
• Rehearsals will be two days a week (weeknights only) – evening only
• Rehearsals will be 2 hours long
• Dancers will be separated into age groups
• Different Broadway show tunes will be used for each group
• Class fees for the entire month are $250. This included all fees related
to this show and tickets will be free. There will be no other expenses.
• A more detailed calendar of rehearsal/class will be produced as soon as I
have commitments from dancers.
Some of you will immediately ask about whether or not you would be out of
town during a portion of the Broadway Summer Series. I am of the opinion
that if a dancer misses one week of the series, they should still be okay in
regard to keeping up with the performance and that we will work them in
elsewhere in order to catch them up in regard to any material that might
have been missed.
I need to let the theatre know about whether or not I plan to go ahead with
this event, so please look at your calendars and let me know as soon as
possible if this is something you will participate in.
